Welcome on a student weekend tour to Munich, Oktoberfest & Bavaria.
This information shows example itineraries to use as a guideline, please note that the order we visit various attractions may change depending on circumstances or time of year. Please follow the advice of your tour manager and make sure that you are at the various pick up points and departures at the correct times.
Student Top Attractions in Munich
FRIDAY DAY TIME UNTIL MONDAY NIGHT
Day 1 – Friday:
Departing in the afternoon, we travel by coach to Folkestone for the crossing by Eurotunnel to France and onwards through Belgium and Germany to Munich where we will arrive Saturday lunchtime.
Accommodation for 2 nights will be outside of the city centre and is based on 4 people sharing a room. Accommodation upgrades available subject to availability and must be selected/paid at the time of booking.
Day 2 – Saturday – Munich:
On arrival in Munich you will have the whole day to explore this Historic bavarian city at leisure, including a visit to the famous Oktoberfest. Evening departure to our hotel,
Day 3 – Sunday – Neuschwanstein & The Romantic Road Optional Tour 15€/£15:
A scenic day out in the Bavarian countryside, passing through picturesque villages as we head south towards the mountains and see the fairytale Castle of Neuschwanstein and a spectacular cable car ride into the Bavarian Alps (extra charge for admission to castles and cable car to mountains approx 50 Euros).
Day 4 – Monday
After breakfast we travel back through Germany and into Luxembourg, where we will stop for dinner before continuing on through Belgium and France for the late evening ferry/Eurotunnel back to the UK. Arriving at your home destination late Monday night.
Optionals extras are also available, but they are not included in the tour price.
2 nights hotel + breakfast is included.
B&B Hotel Holledau. Geisenhausen - Bavaria. Germany.
Optional room upgrades available at extra cost. All standard rooms are for 4 people sharing. Rooms have an ensuite bathroom and breakfast is included on Sunday & Monday morning.
