Welcome on a student weekend tour to Paris (Easter Weekend)
This information shows example itineraries to use as a guideline, please note that the order we visit various attractions may change depending on circumstances or time of year. Please follow the advice of your tour manager and make sure that you are at the various pick up points and departures at the correct times.
Student Top Attractions in Paris
FRIDAY EVENING TO MONDAY MORNING
We will travel over night to the wonderful city of Paris by coach and ferry. We will depart from Dover in the early hours of the morning, on arrival in France please note that you will have to put your watches forward by one hour. From Calais the journey to Paris will take about 4 hours, we will make a breakfast stop on the outskirts of the city where you will also be able to freshen up.
We will begin the day at the Notre Dame, which you will have time to visit and from here, take a sightseeing tour boat along the River Seine (€10) – the perfect way to begin your day in Paris.
To book the River Seine boat trip please pay the guide on the bus before arrival in Paris (payment will be required in €).
After the walking tour why not visit the famous Louvre Museum? Here you can also have lunch in the restaurant complex and see the historic artefacts in this very popular museum, if you are lucky enough to be under 18 then the entrance is free.
During the afternoon you will have time to stroll along the Champs Elysees and visit the Eiffel Tower (about €15 for a ticket to the top).
Hotel check in will be early evening. Please check with your guide for meeting time/place. Rooms at the hotel are based on 3 or 4 people sharing with private bathroom and breakfast included on Sunday and Monday morning. Your guide will find out who will share with whom on the way to Paris.
Sunday - A full day to explore more of Paris. If you wish to join our optional visit to Disneyland then you can pay the guide the extra money on the tour, please speak to tour guide about that. To guarantee a ticket to Disneyland you should book the Paris & Disneyland tour.
Departure in the evening to return home in the early hours of Monday morning.
Optional extras are also available, but they are not included in the tour price.

Early Saturday evening we will travel together by coach to the hotel for check in. Standard price is for triple rooms or quad rooms with 3-4 people sharing a private bathroom and breakfast included on Sunday morning. Your guide will find out who will share with whom on the way to Paris.
* Note: In busier periods of the year (eg middle of summer) we may have alternative accommodation and possibly have higher numbers of people sharing a room or use a hostel rather than a hotel. *
