Welcome on a student weekend tour to Paris.
This information shows example itineraries to use as a guideline, please note that the order we visit various attractions may change depending on circumstances or time of year. Please follow the advice of your tour manager and make sure that you are at the various pick up points and departures at the correct times.
Student Top Attractions in Paris
We will travel overnight to the wonderful city of Paris by coach and ferry/eurotunnel. We will depart from Dover in the early hours of the morning, on arrival in France please note that you will have to put your watches forward by one hour. From Calais the journey to Paris will take about 4 hours, we will make a breakfast stop on the outskirts of the city where you will also be able to freshen up.
We will begin the day at the Notre Dame, which you will have time to visit and from here take a sightseeing tour boat along the River Seine (€10) – the perfect way to begin your day in Paris.
To book the River Seine boat trip please pay the guide on the bus before arrival in Paris (payment €10).
It is a short walk from here to the Louvre Museum, where you can take lunch and visit this historic museum, if you are lucky enough to be under 18 then the entrance is free or about €10 for adults. At the museum there is a large underground restaurant complex with foods from around the world, the cost of the food here is very reasonable compared to the more expensive places in the street close to the museum. During the afternoon you will have time to stroll along the Champs Elysees and visit the Eiffel Tower (up to €15 for ticket to the top) before meeting for hotel check in.
You can join our optional evening illuminations tour (€20) Saturday evening – beginning with a visit to Montmartre & Sacre Coeur in the famous artists quarter with its magnificent views over Paris and quaint streets and café’s to Pigalle and the Moulin Rouge, followed by an evening illuminations tour with a stop at the Trocadero to see the Eiffel Tower light show before returning to the hotel late evening.
Another day to spend some extra time in Paris to discover and see more of what this wonderful city has to offer.
The coach will depart from Paris Sunday evening for the return journey to the UK overnight. Arrival back at your home town will be Monday morning.

Early Saturday evening we will travel together by coach to the hotel for check in. Standard price is for triple rooms or quad rooms with 3-4 people sharing a private bathroom and breakfast included on Sunday morning. Your guide will find out who will share with whom on the way to Paris.
* Note: In busier periods of the year (eg middle of summer) we may have alternative accommodation and possibly have higher numbers of people sharing a room or use a hostel rather than a hotel. *
