Friday:
Late evening departure from our various pick up locations and overnight travel by coach

Saturday:
09:00 arrival in Edinburgh
09:00 – 12:00 guided walking tour of Edinburgh with tour manager
12:00 – 18:30 free time
19:00 arrive at hotel to check in

Sunday:
Either a free day to do as you wish or you can join our optional tour to the Highlands.
09:00 depart on our full day optional Highlands tour (£35 per person)
09:00 – 20:00 our optional tour will include visiting the lakes and mountains of the Highlands to see Scotland’s natural beauty plus a visit to a traditional Scottish whisky distillery
20:00 finish optional tour back to hotel

Monday:
09:00 departure from hotel
11:00 Visit a traditional woollen mill
12:30 lunch at Gretna Green (world famous Blacksmiths shop)
19:00 – 21:30 finish at drop off destinations (depending on location)

Overnight travel by coach to Scotland.

Saturday
Spend Saturday visiting Edinburgh with our guide to see the sights and learn some fascinating facts about the country and its people. Visit Edinburgh Castle (extra charge) or the shops or museums. Late afternoon we will travel to our hotel - please note the hotel may not always be located in Edinburgh and could be up to 1 hour bus or train travel away.

Sunday
A free day to do whatever you wish, either join us on the optional tour below or you can return to Edinburgh.  Another option is to take a train to Glasgow to see the sights there, which is up to 1 hour travel away.

Optional tour on Sunday - Highlands, Lochs & Mountains Tour (£35 extra)
Travel into the Highlands with our guide to see the beautiful lochs and mountains in Braveheart country. Visit the Wallace Monument, see the famous Forth Bridge and stop for souvenirs & Tartan gifts at a Scottish woollen mill. Tour includes admission to a Scottish Whisky Distillery to sample some famous Malt.  

Monday

After breakfast you will be checking out of the hotel and will for most of the day be travelling back to your home destination. Time of arrival at your home is about 9pm - 11pm depending on where you live.

Optional room upgrades available at extra cost.

Standard price is for sharing a triple room or quad room (3-4 people) with en-suite shower and breakfast included on Sunday and Monday morning. Note: in busier periods it can be 4 or 5 sharing in hostel accommodation but still with ensuite bathroom and breakfast included.
